DOLE continues to empower PWDs

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) had always been a staunch advocate for promoting the rights of people with disabilities (PWDs).

Through the Department’s Tulong Alalay Para Sa Taong May Kapansanan (TULAY), various endeavors had been undertaken—be it employment or livelihood assistance or capacitating program partners—to help integrate PWDs into the mainstream society and enable them to fully participate in the social and economic development.

In this short video (or click banner above), the DOLE regional office in the National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) revisited some of those activities and remained committed to assist PWDs even to this day amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which had posed additional challenges (Related story: Sari-sari store owner give thanks to DOLE).
