26 KMME beneficiaries join RTWPB-NCR’s leaner management training
RTWPB-NCR conducts webinar training on “Leaner Management in the New Normal” together with DTI’s 26 “Kapatid Mentor Me” (KMME) beneficiaries on January 27, 2021 through Zoom application. The session was led by RTWPB-NCR’s Board Secretary VI Kim S. Lagcao, Supervising Labor and Employment Officer Ana Lissa A. Emperador, and Administrative Assistant III Bernalyn A. Dela Cruz.

Some 26 “Kapatid Mentor Me” (KMME) program beneficiaries in Metro Manila joined the online training on Leaner Management in the New Normal conducted by the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board - National Capital Region (RTWPB-NCR) in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on January 27, 2021.

The activity was intended to uplift the situation of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) during the pandemic by providing basic strategies on how to systematically eliminate unnecessary processes and procedures in their enterprises. Further, such activity will guide establishments to adopt strategies applicable to their respective workplaces that will help provide responsive, timely and quality products and services to their customers amid disruptions brought by and negative effects of COVID-19.

The training program was conceptualized and developed by the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) and one of their productivity training sessions that were offered via webinar series during the later part of year 2020. It was also tailored for the MSMEs during the pandemic to help improve their productivity during the period of recovery.

The KMME beneficiaries actively participated in the training and diligently submitted the required business information sheet as well as their respective action plans as part of their commitment. Further, RTWPB-NCR will also monitor and document their performance on how they have implemented their respective action plans. END / Kim Lagcao
