The Department of Labor and Employment through its regional office in the National Capital Region and the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) invited Metro Manila based companies to an orientation and accreditation on the online job matching facility of the government through the Philjobnet. The orientation will be held on March 16, 2011, at the Occupational Safety and Health Auditorium, North Avenue cor. Agham Road, Quezon City.
The PHIL-Jobnet is an automated job and applicant matching system which aims to fast-track jobseekers search for jobs and employers search for manpower being hosted by the Bureau of Local Employment. This can be accessed thru www.phil-job.net.
The orientation intends to encourage employers to regularly post and update their job vacancies online thereby providing jobseekers with updated and accurate data on jobs availability for a possible job and skills matching.
“The updated labor market information both on local and overseas job opportunities will help hasten the re-employment of our repatriated OFWs from Libya, Middle East and for our graduating students, who will soon look for jobs.” said DOLE-NCR Regional Director Raymundo G. Agravante
The BLE will comprehensively discuss the features of the Philjobnet and will go through the mechanics of the accreditation process. To facilitate the accreditation and posting of job vacancies, private companies, manpower agencies catering to both local and overseas recruitment are all enjoined to come and participate in tomorrow’s orientation and accreditation.
For the accreditation, company representatives must bring the following requirements: List of job vacancies for posting, BIR form 2303- BIR Registration (TIN) and any of the following: a). Registration Certificate from DTI for single proprietorship, b). SEC Registration for partnership or corporation, c).
