More companies in CAMANAVA area get DOLE safety seal
The Department of Labor and Employment - National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) through its CAMANAVA Field Office (CFO) awarded the Safety Seal Certification to three establishments within their area of jurisdiction on August 23, 2021.
 
The Splash Corporation located at Lazaro Street, Valenzuela City; D.M. Consunji, Inc. - NLEX-SLEX Connector Road Project at PNR Compound, C. Asistio Street, Caloocan City; and Polyfoam-RGC International, Corporation (Uratex Foam) in Lawang Bato, Valenzuela City were found to be compliant with the government’s minimum public health standards for their employees and clients amidst the continuous fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
The awarding ceremony was held at DOLE-NCR CFO as spearheaded by Field Office Director Rowella V. Grande together with her labor inspection team.

In her message of support, Director Grande congratulated and extended her appreciation to the said companies for assuring their consumers and the public of their safety whenever they enter or exit their premises and looked forward to their continued compliance to prevent and control the COVID-19 transmission.
 
DOLE along with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Health (DOH), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Tourism (DOT), and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) are the issuing authorities of the Safety Seal Certification. For its part, DOLE is the issuing authority of the said certification to establishments in manufacturing, construction sites, utilities (i.e. electric, water, gas, air conditioning supply, sewerage, waste management), information and communication companies (i.e. private publication, news, movie production, TV and radio companies) and warehouses.
 
Rule II, Section II of the DOLE-DOH-DILG-DOT-DTI Joint Memorandum Circular No. 21-01, Series of 2021 or the Implementing Guidelines of the Safety Seal Certification Program states that the acquired Safety Seal shall be valid for six (6) months from the date of issuance, except for those issued to tourism enterprises which shall be valid for one (1) year. Likewise, said Certification shall be renewable subject to continued compliance with the eligibility requirements set in the said Joint Memorandum Circular.
