RTWPB-NCR, Sunlight Foods Corp, HR Spectacles triumphant in 2021 Productivity Olympics
The recently concluded 2021 Productivity Olympics recognized establishments nationwide that served as economic powerhouses that promote business continuity, employee engagement, and employment preservation.

The national stage has been set as the resilient Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) finalists across 16 regional boards throughout the country rallied behind this year's theme, "Bounce Back Better." This concept highlighted and applauded their ability to strategize, adapt, and reinvent business processes amidst the devastating effects of the pandemic.

The National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) recently held the virtual awarding ceremony attended by NWPC senior officials, regional board members and secretariat, and executives from various establishments. After surmounting a rigorous series of regional and national screening sessions, among the awardees are the two buoyant MSMEs hailing from the National Capital Region namely, SUNlight Foods Corporation, the national winner for the Industry-Medium category, and GP HR Solutions, Inc. (HR Spectacles), the national winner for the Service-Micro category.

SUNlight Foods Corporation is a multi-awarded food manufacturing corporation mainly engaged in processing fruit preserves such as Ube, Coconut, Jackfruit, and Macapuno and aligned with the requirements of bakeries, ice cream manufacturers, and fast food industries.

On the other hand, HR Spectacles brings a lean and modern approach as a complete Human Resource Management System through cutting-edge technology coupled with industry expertise pertinent to workforce development, employee relations, administration management, and other Human Resource consultancy services.

Consequently, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board National Capital Region (RTWPB-NCR) bagged the award for the Best Region through a collaborative endeavor founded upon the tenets of tenacity, creativity, and a genuine solicitude for enterprises within the region.

The 2021 Productivity Olympics was indeed an innovative and inspiring event—a celebration of grit and perseverance exemplified by all the participating MSMEs and their respective regional boards. Their collective effort has been and will always continue to be the spark that ignites a more substantial commitment to workforce productivity amidst any circumstance, even during the current pandemic.

In celebration of the Productivity and Quality month last October, the national winners received P150,000 cash award, trophy, and priority endorsement to productivity training programs and services. END / Ivann Archie Arintok
