More QC companies get DOLE safety seals
On December 13, 2021, the Department of Labor and Employment - National Capital Region through its Quezon City Field Office (QCFO) awarded the Safety Seal Certificates to various companies in Quezon City: Manila Electric Company at 1248 E. De Los Santos, Avenue, Apolonio Samson, Balintawak; Novaliches-Balara Aqueduct 4 (NBAQ4 Project) at Tandang Sora, Matandang Balara; Alorica Teleservices, Inc. at 2nd Floor SMDC Mezza Residences, Doña Imelda; and Vcustomer Philippines, Inc. at 3rd Floor E-Commerce Plaza, Eastwood City, Cyberpark, Bagumbayan. 
 
The Certificates were awarded in recognition to the companies’ compliance to safety and health protocols against COVID-19. 
 
On behalf of QCFO Director, Engr. Martin T. Jequinto, the awarding ceremony was presided by Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) Deputy Executive Director, Engr. Jose Maria S. Batino; Supervising Labor and Employment Officer Raymond Benjamin R. Perez; and Senior Labor and Employment Officers Jil Emmanuel S. Fernandez, Robert Panganiban, and Efren Jason Buen.

According to Rule No. II, Section I of the DOLE-DOH-DILG-DOT-DTI Joint Memorandum Circular No. 21-01, also known as the Implementing Guidelines for the Safety Seal Certification Program, the Safety Seal affirms that an establishment has been found compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government, including the adoption or integration with the StaySafe.ph in contact tracing application. The seal shall be displayed conspicuously at all entrance points according to prescribed dimensions. 
 
Obtaining the Safety Seal shall be at no cost to the establishment. Further, the Certificate is valid for six (6) months and can be renewed, subject to company’s continued compliance to the said guidelines.
