DOLE-NCR Trains Personnel to Man its Hotline

On May 18-19, 2017, 30 DOLE-NCR personnel, including project-based employees (PBEs) identified to operate the call center underwent the first batch of Training-Workshop on DOLE-NCR Call Center Hotline that covers various topics on Labor Relations, Labor Standards, Employment, and Administrative Programs of the Department at the 4th Floor Conference Room, DOLE-NCR Building, Maligaya Street, Malate, Manila.

The participants were also trained on the call center basics, such as the proper way of receiving phone calls and handling client’s queries. Through said training, participants will gain better knowledge and understanding on the DOLE programs and services, as well as the general labor standards.  This will also empower them to provide significant response to their clients, and make them effective and efficient in the discharge of their functions and other assignments.

DOLE-NCR’s homegrown talents served as resource persons for this training, namely,  Ms. Jackilyn C. Borja, Mr. Allen Anthony F. Fuentes, Mr. Manuel M. Cayabyab, Mr. Ryan Roberto E. Delos Reyes, Ms. Eloisa M. Santos, Mr. Marco Antholin Santos, Ms. Carmelita B. Jimena, Mr. Elias A. Roque, Ms. Ma. Lovella C. Ubaldo, and Mr. Benjamin Joseph G. Lee.

The remaining two (2) batches are scheduled for training on June and July 2017.

The DOLE-NCR hotline was established to bring the Department’s services closer to the clients, by addressing to their concerns any time of the day. END/Diana Joyz G. Esguerra
