DOLE-CAMANAVA concludes the 4-day DOLE-NCR Clinic

On Thursday, May 25, 2017, DOLE-NCR CAMANAVA Field Office concluded the last of the 4-session DOLE Clinic with Orientations covering topics on Employment Coaching, DOLE Integrated Livelihood Assistance, Labor Standard Enforcement, Dispute Resolution and the DO 174-17 otherwise known as the Rules Implementing Articles 106-109 of the Labor Code of the Philippines as amended. The said activity was held at the Conference Room of the DOLE-CAMANAVA Field Office of all Thursdays of the month of May and was attended by a total of two hundred eighty six (286) participants covering one hundred nine (109) CAMANAVA-based establishments.

“We are thankful for the NGAs, especially, DOLE for conducting activities like the DOLE Clinic that enhances the knowledge of HR Practitioners on the relevant matters encompassing employment matters.”, said Ms. Melanie P. Moresca, HR/Admin Head of Arkigrafix Corporation, one of the participants.

“There were no dull moments during the seminar. The speakers are very knowledgeable on the assigned topics. We just hope that there is more time to raise questions especially on the Labor Laws Compliance System and DO 174-17.”, remarked Ms. Ma. Corazon Santos, another participant.

With the theme “Matatag na Kabuhayan Tungo sa Progresibong Pagbabago”, aside from the regular conduct of simultaneous job fairs on May 1, the department carried out a series of orientations as part of the innovated approach on the month-long celebration of the 115th Labor Day Anniversary.
