About 45,000 Vacancies Await Job Seekers on June 12

The 2017 Kalayaan Day Trabaho, Negosyo, at Kabuhayan Caravan Job and Business Fair is slated on June 12, 2017 at the Senior Citizens Garden (near the dancing fountain), Rizal Park with about 45,000 vacancies awaiting job applicants, wherein 9,844 are open for local and 20,000 for overseas employment.

Fifty-seven (57) local employers and 20 overseas placement agencies will take part in this job and business fairs.  Also, government agencies such as the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and the Philippine National Police (PNP) will join this activity.  The BIR offers more than 2,000 job vacancies while the AFP and the PNP have 10,000 and 3,000 vacancies, respectively.

Pre-employment documentation services will also be brought closer to our job applicants and will be provided by the NBI, SSS, BIR, PAG-IBIG and, PhilHealth. Further, TESDA also will participate in this activity and will set up their booths at the Roxas Boulevard side of the venue to provide free haircut and massage services.
