DOLE-MPFO SENA Benefits Agrip Security Agency Employees

On July 14, 2017, a total of Php 33,789.86 SENA settlement benefitted three (3) employees of Agrip Security Agency and its employees, during a conference held at the DOLE-Makati Pasay Field Office.

The SENA arose from a complaint filed by Mr. Renante Tribunalo et. al on June 14, 2017. Allegedly, there’s non-payment of overtime, holiday, and night shift differential pays, no service incentive leave, non-remittance of SSS, PHILHEALTH and PAGIBIG contributions; and there’s unfair labor practice and illegal dismissal by Agrip Security Agency.

SENA Conferences were scheduled on July 7 & 14, 2017 wherein both parties appeared before Ms. Maria Lerma DC. Jimenez, hearing officer. Details on the complaint were thoroughly discussed, as well as settlement proposals by the company.  It was on July 14, 2017 when the parties agreed to settle the issue and payments were made to the complainants, with Php 14,580.00 given to Mr. Renante Tribunalo; Php 12,126.00 to Mr. Venturo Daling; and       Php 7,080.64.00 was given to Mr. Ken Daling, with a for a total of Php 33,786.86 paid as settlement.

Eventually, a quitclaim form signed by both parties served as proof that a settlement was achieved and the labor dispute between the two contending parties was finally resolved.END/Mark Avner P. Acosta
