DOLE-TUPAD Benefits Las PiƱas Central Elementary School Brigada Eskwela

On July 14, 2017, the DOLE-NCR MUNTAPARLAS Field Office released the amount of                      Php 148,800.00 to the 30 beneficiaries of Las Piñas Central Elementary School Brigada Eswela under the DILEEP’s Tulong Panghanapbuhay Para sa Ating mga Displaced/ Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD).

During the said activity, MTPLFO OIC-Director Atty. Nepomuceno A. Leaño II emphasized the continuous partnership with various stakeholders from the government and private sectors in extending employment and livelihood assistance to the disadvantaged/displaced workers. He acknowledged the PESO Las Piñas headed by PESO Manager Redante Garcia for supporting the various DOLE Programs.  In the same manner, Atty. Leaño expressed gratitude to the MSF Company for sponsoring the cleaning materials and tools for the Brigada Eskwela.

The Las Pinas Central Elementary School Brigada Eskwela TUPAD beneficiaries offered assistance in cleaning and beautifying the classrooms and school facilities from July 5 to July 15, 2017.  Accordingly, this will provide short-term wage employment as their immediate source of income.

TUPAD is a component of DOLE’s Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program which aims to strengthen social protection of vulnerable sector by enhancing access to emergency employment and livelihood program.END. Sheryl Ann Vargas
