Skills training graduates awarded with livelihood packages
 
40 graduates of skills training received livelihood packages from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) worth P474,000.00. Said event was held at Makati City Hall on 12 January 2018. 
 
Prior to receiving their livelihood packages, said graduates were trained on the following skills: Sewing or Dress Making, Nail Care, and Hilot or Massage for Wellness.
 
The Awarding Ceremony was graced by the presence of Makati City Mayor Mar-Len Abigail Binay and Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo.  Ryan Barcelo, Officer-In-Charge of the Makati Social Welfare Department, were also present to support the activity.
 
Mayor Binay congratulated the graduates and challenged them to grow and sustain their businesses. The Makati Mayor expressed her hopes that they would one day reap the benefits of their hard work. Mayor Binay added that their Office is planning for a financial literacy program for all the skills training graduates as they intend to capacitate them in managing the income generated by their businesses.
