NCR awarded for outstanding performance in BLR program implementation
DOLE-NCR was applauded for its outstanding performance in the implementation of programs spearheaded by the Bureau of Labor Relations (BLR) during said Bureau's celebration of 61st founding anniversary on 14-16 January 2018 at Citystate Tower Hotel at Ermita, Manila.  
With the theme “Trabahong Marangal Para Sa Lahat, Sabay-Sabay Nating Iangat”, DOLE-NCR bagged 2 awards in the spheres of 1) Tripartism and Social Dialogue; and, 2) Registration of Unions, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA), and Workers Associations.
In the Tripartism and Social Dialogue Award, regions were measured in terms of the regularity of meetings conducted, position papers and resolutions adopted, and other activities undertaken by the regional, local, and industry tripartite councils in the forms of learning sessions, capacity-building, and corporate social responsibility (CSR), among others.
As for the Registration Award, regions were gauged on the number of registered unions, CBAs, and workers associations for the period of 5 years, process cycle time of registration, and regional submission of registration documents to BLR. 
The  three-day activity endeavored to capacitate Labor Relations focal persons from different regions through sessions on certification election, audit of unions, union and CBA registration, and tripartism and social dialogue.
On the third and final day, BLR capped the ceremony with the awarding of plaques of recognition for outstanding performance of regional offices. END / Jackilyn Borja / IMSD-LCO-2018-01 / GNJ18-04
