Companies advised to comply with workers’ mandatory benefits
11 workers from different business lines of the Udderly Delicious Co. Ltd. received a total of P98,000.00 as a settlement for their money claims consisted of alleged underpayment of minimum wage, non-payment of overtime, and 13th month pay. 
Single Entry Approach Desk Officers Marian Jane Alumbro and Jenneth Bonghanoy of the DOLE PAPAMAMARISAN Field Office facilitated the Request for Assistance and settlement of payment. 
Director Leonides Castillon Jr. of the same DOLE office had a discussion with the legal counsel of Udderly Delicious Co. Ltd relative to workers’ statutory monetary benefits. 
Said company was also advised to register their establishment under the Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBE) Law (R.A. 9178) as they were reportedly non-compliant of the said Act.
