WCP orientation for advertisers, casters, media and talent agencies
 
DOLE-Makati Pasay Field Office (MPFO) conducted orientation on the Working Child Permit (WCP) to various advertisers, casters, media and talent agencies. Said activity was attended by 61 employer representatives engaged in public entertainment or information.
 
In her welcoming remarks, MPFO Director Andrea Cabansag reiterated the need for a common understanding of the WCP guidelines as stipulated in the Department Circular 02 S. 2017. She also looked forward to continuous cooperation of the employers to strictly observe the said guidelines to ensure protection of the children engaged in above-said activities.
 
Chief LEO Maribeth Casin and Supervising LEO Jerome Gabriel of the Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns (BWSC) - Young Workers Development Division facilitated the orientation and participant inquiries.
