DOLE-NCR and PAMM: A relationship based on commitments
A strong camaraderie based on trust and confidence is the foundation of the ties between DOLE-NCR and the Public Employment Service Office of Metro Manila (PAMM). Ensuring that said relationship is maintained and cultivated remains the primary order of the day.
In the recently held DOLE-NCR and PAMM Professional and Relational Enhancement Activity in Manila, said objective was sustained. The first orientation on the new Guidelines on the Search for Best PESO (SBP) was provided to ensure a standard appreciation of its new procedures.
Ian Ticar, Senior LEO of the Bureau of Local Employment was the resource person to discuss the SBP Guidelines.
“This was the first time that the Guidelines on Search for Best PESO will be cascaded,” said Ticar. "The inputs to be provided by the participants will be helpful in the implementation of its rules,” he added.
A healthy exchange of ideas and comments during the open forum followed after the presentation.
Planning for this year’s targets was also part of the meeting agenda to ascertain that commitments on employment programs and services will be gauged and delivered. Ryan Ray Baluyot of IMSD-Planning Cluster of DOLE-NCR Regional Office presented the previous year’s accomplishments.
