PWDs in Las PiƱas get sewing package through BUB project

39 Persons with Disability (PWD) beneficiaries were provided with sewing equipment, textiles, and other related tools during the formal turn-over of “Bottom-Up Budgeting (BUB) Project: Sewing of School Uniforms for Day Care” at the Senior Citizens Office Center, BF Homes Subdivision, Las Piñas City, on 31 January 2018.

OIC-Director Nepomuceno A. Leaño II of DOLE-MUNTAPARLAS Field Office (MTPLFO) spearheaded the turnover of said project to PWD beneficiaries that was worth P526,245.00. 

The MTPLFO OIC-Director said "the Department will continuously promote the welfare of the disabled persons."

The activity was supported by DOLE-MTPLFO partners including the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) - Las Piñas team: Lourdes Pichay, Rhyan Lindo, Renalyn Recaros; and representative from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) - Las Piñas: Ronald Dizon Monfero (BUB Focal Person).
