MUNTAPARLAS TIPC and ITC holds Tree Planting Activity
SUCAT, Parañaque City—As part of their annual plan to empower corporate social responsibility and commitment, the MUNTAPARLAS’ local Tripartite Industrial Peace Council or TIPC (Muntaparlas, Parañaque and Muntinlupa) and Industry Tripartite Council or ITC (Cargo Handlers & Logistics and Business Process Outsourcing) held a Joint Tree Planting Activity at C5 Extension Road on Saturday, July 14. 
 
 
 
 
The undertaking aims to promote greening initiatives and deeper involvement in the environmental protection.
 
A total of 120 Kabalyero plants were planted along the extension road through the collaborative efforts of DOLE-NCR MUNTAPARLAS Field Office (MTPLFO) as spearheaded by Director Nepomuceno A. Leaño II; various local government agencies in Parañaque: Workers Affairs Office (WAO), City Environment & Natural Resources Office (CENRO), and City Agriculture Department; and MTPLFO local TIPC and ITC representatives from Tas Trans Service Corporation, Lattice, City of Dreams, PALEA, BMS Janitorial & Allied Services, Blue Mountain, Future Trade International Inc., Elegant Infoventures, Inc., Fortune Packaging Corporation, Datacentric, Worldclass Manpower Services Incorporated, Vantgarde Inc., and Mesco Express Service Corporation.

“In behalf of Director Nepomuceno A. Leaño II, we would like to thank the active participation of the MTPLFO local TIPCs and ITCs in this worthwhile undertaking specifically in the preservation of the environment,” said DOLE-NCR MTPLFO Labor Relations focal person Lourdes T. Ching.
 
 
Towards the end of the activity, CENRO-Parañaque Chief Bernie Amurao expressed his support to the initiatives and efforts of the government partners and private stakeholders in the adherence to the government’s National Greening Program.
 
Parañaque City Agriculture Department head Felicisimo Afable said that they will continuously monitor and nurture the planted seedlings. END / Sheryl Anne Vargas
