METRO MANILA—The Department of Labor and Employment – National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) awards the ‘Certificate of Recognition’ from the Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns (BWSC) to the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Inc. (FFCCCII) during its general assembly on Tuesday,  September 4, at the FFCCCII headquarters in Binondo.

The recognition was awarded in appreciation of the organization’s contributions to the Anti-Child Labor Campaign of the Department. Through BWSC’s Project Angel Tree, the Federation donated 1,000 school bags and other necessities to support children’s schooling needs at Amoranto Stadium in Quezon City and San Andres Sports Complex in Manila, both in June 2018, in line with the World Day Against Child Labor celebrations.

The awarding ceremony was witnessed by the FFCCCII officers and members, including the Federation’s past presidents and DOLE-NCR representatives from Employment Promotion and Workers Welfare Division: Aurora E. Halcon (Officer-in-Charge), and Ryan Roberto E. Delos Reyes (Senior LEO).

The organization was grateful for DOLE’s recognition and looked forward to more collaboration in the future. END / Ryan Roberto Delos Reyes
