The Department of Labor and Employment - National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) supports the celebration of women's month beginning the first week of March.

Every Monday, employees have an opportunity to watch a short clip commemorating women, few minutes before staff sing the Philippine National Anthem and commitment to public service through the "Panunumpa ng Kawani ng Gubyerno."

Every Friday is purple day at DOLE-NCR for the entire month. Not just your ordinary shirt, this year's design is based on the 2017-2022 themed: We make change work for women, which is anchored on the commitment of "Malasakit at Pagbabago" or True Compassion and Real Change. The region and its field offices showcased their themed shirts through various group photos and shout outs in support of the event.
