The DOLE-NCR Quezon City Field Office (QCFO) had facilitated the release of P3,004,108.91 worth of monetary claims that covered 54 workers under the Single Entry Approach (SEnA) Program in a report released for the month of October 2020.

During said month, QCFO settled a total of 1,021 cases out of 1,664 Request for Assistance (RFA) or 61.4% settlement rate.

The common issues for filing the RFAs included non-payment of separation pay, 13th month pay, retirement pay, and underpayment of wages. There were also employers who requested QCFO to witness the payment of separation pay for their retrenched workers.

Meanwhile, in view of the COVID-19 preventive measures, all RFAs lobbied at DOLE-NCR are facilitated online through e-Filing Services at but personally-filed requests are still accommodated for appropriate action, subject to observance of the minimum health standards and protocols as stated further in Section 2 of the DOLE Department Order No. 214-20.

Single Entry Approach is a reform measure institutionalized through Department Order No. 107-10 to effect a faster, fairer and less expensive settlement of labor issues and to prevent such issues from maturing into actual labor cases. It is an option provided by the DOLE for workers in the filing of cases with conciliation as the entry point.
