On August 26, 2021, three (3) establishments in Quezon City were awarded with Safety Seal Certificate in recognition for their compliance to safety and health protocols against COVID-19.

The awarded establishments were the: DZRV Radio Veritas Foundation Inc., located at EDSA, Brgy. Phil-Am, Quezon City; the Radio Veritas Global Broadcasting System, Inc., located at Veritas Tower 162 West Avenue Corner EDSA, Brgy. Phil-Am, Quezon City; and the Josefina Manufacturing, Inc., located at 299-355 G. Araneta Ave., Quezon City.

The awarding ceremony was held at the DOLE-NCR Quezon City Field Office and was presided by OIC-Field Office Director, Atty. Joel P. Petaca.

According to Rule No. II, Section I of the DOLE-DOH-DILG-DOT-DTI Joint Memorandum Circular No. 21-01, known as the Implementing Guidelines for the Safety Seal Certification Programs, the Safety Seal affirms that an establishment has been found compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government, including the adoption or integration with the StaySafe.ph in contact tracing application. The seal shall be displayed conspicuously at all entrance points according to prescribed dimensions. Obtaining the Safety Seal shall be at no cost to the establishment.

The awarded Certificates are valid for six (6) months and can be renewed, subject to continued compliance of the companies with the eligibility requirements of the said Joint Memorandum Circular.
