CALOOCAN CITY – The Department of Labor and Employment – National Capital Region through its CAMANAVA Field Office (DOLE-NCR CFO) accomplished 91.74% percent settlement rate of labor disputes through its Single Entry Approach (SEnA) in the year 2021.
The settlement of 200 out of 218 Request for Assistance (RFAs) paved the way for workers to receive their monetary claims amounting to over P7 million.
DOLE-NCR CAMANAVA Field Office Director Rowella V. Grande said the high resolution rate can be attributed to the efficiency of its frontline personnel, specifically the SEnA Desk Officers (SEADOs) and their commitment in serving the disadvantaged employees while striking a balance between fairness and equity between the parties.
“Desk officers ensured RFAs filed and received were acted upon immediately and resolved without having to wait for and observe the 30 days maximum period,” she added.
SEnA is a flagship program of DOLE which aims to resolve labor disputes speedily and inexpensively.
The conflicts and disputes arising from employer-employee relationships are expected to get settled within 30 calendar days through conciliation and mediation proceedings.
