The Department of Labor and Employment – National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR), through its Makati-Pasay Field Office (MPFO), joined the Annual Employer’s Forum with the theme “Usap Tayo,” as held by the City Government of Pasay’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) on November 29, 2022, at Selah Garden, Pasay City.

Said activity focused on the vital role of the private sector in the country’s quest to economic reformation and the apparent opportunities it can extend to the workforce, which is in line with the Department’s constitutional mandate to foster industrial peace and promote full and equal employment to all.

In her message, MPFO Director, Atty. Olivia O. Obrero-Samson, thanked all the employers and simultaneously urged the attendees from the private sector to be members of the Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (TIPC) and to be generous in hiring of applicants in the Pasayahin 2022 K-12 Job Fair held last December 1, 2022.

Other matters thoroughly discussed during the said undertaking were latest DOLE labor advisories and issuances, Pasay City Government ordinances, PESO programs, and a timely discourse on “Stress Management in the Workplace.”
