The elected officials of the Parañaque City Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (PTIPC) took oath of office before Parañaque City Mayor Eric L. Olivarez on September 12, 2022.
DOLE-NCR MUNTAPARLAS Field Office Director Leonides P. Castillon, Jr. witnessed the oath taking ceremony together with Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager, Henry Leonardo and Parañaque Workers Affairs Office (PWAO) Department Head, Ms. Elizabeth Villanueva.
After the oath taking, the elected officers were given an opportunity to discuss various issues and concerns confronted by their Council.
Mr. Emmanuel Rios from the PTIPC management sector expressed the different concerns of the companies in Parañaque City, particularly the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), where they sought for clearer policies for the management of the said industry. Its labor sector, represented by Mr. Henry Roman, gave suggestions on wage policies in view of the increasing inflation.
Director Castillon, on the other hand, emphasized that such matters would be welcomed on their incoming regular meetings with other members of the PTIPC.
