A total of 5,044 Grade 12 students from various schools in Muntinlupa City participated in the Career Guidance Advocacy Seminar conducted by the City Government of Muntinlupa’s Public Employment Service Office from November 4, 2022 until December 2, 2022.
The students came from Muntinlupa National High School, Muntinlupa Science High School, Cupang Senior High School, and Tunasan National High School.
The activity was held in coordination with the Department of Education – Muntinlupa City Schools Division Office and the MUNTAPARLAS Field Office (MTPLFO) of the Department of Labor and Employment – National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR).
To help the participant-students make informed career decisions, MTPLFO representatives, Mr. Christopher Gregorio and Ms. Ericka Escalada provided updates on Labor Market Information and discussed the technological advancements brought by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Further, Senior Labor and Employment Officer, Ms. Eritza Molea explained the concept of Entrepreneurship, including traits and mindsets of an entrepreneur that the students may emulate should they intend to start their own business in the future.
