On May 4, 11, 23 and 25, 2022, the Department of Labor and Employment – National Capital Region through its Makati-Pasay Field Office (MPFO) awarded the Safety Seal Certificates to the following companies in Makati and Pasay City: Petron Corporation – Jocasp Terminal at Terminal 2, NAIA Complex, Pasay City; TPPH-FHCS, Inc. – Teleperformance at 5/F Aegis People Support Center, Ayala Avenue cor. Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City; Maynilad Water Services, Inc. at 2149 Taft Ave. St., Pasay City; and Telephilippines, Inc. at 8/F MAAX Bldg., Coral Way cor. Diokno Blvd., Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

The Certificates were awarded in recognition to the companies’ compliance to safety and health protocols against COVID-19.

The awarding ceremony was presided by MPFO OIC-Director, Atty. Olivia O. Obrero-Samson; Supervising Labor and Employment Officer Julita DG. Mendoza; Senior Labor and Employment Officers Louie Ann N. Abello and Jason T. Prestado; and Labor and Employment Officer III Carlo Lorenzo D. Cepe.

According to Rule No. II, Section I of the DOLE-DOH-DILG-DOT-DTI Joint Memorandum Circular No. 21-01, also known as the Implementing Guidelines for the Safety Seal Certification Program, the Safety Seal affirms that an establishment has been found compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government, including the adoption or integration with the StaySafe.ph in contact tracing application. The Seal shall be displayed conspicuously at all entrance points according to prescribed dimensions.

Obtaining the Safety Seal shall be at no cost to the establishment. Further, the Certificate is valid for one (1) year and can be renewed, subject to company’s continued compliance to the said guidelines.
