n line with the business resumptions of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the National Capital Region (NCR), the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board – National Capital Region (RTWPB-NCR) conducted a webinar session on 7S of Good Housekeeping on February 4, 2021.

The activity is among the strategies of the Board to intensify productivity during pandemic; taking into consideration that some businesses have already resumed operations and their workers are reporting back for work and recuperating from the negative effects brought by the disruption.

Said training is one of the services of the Board intended for MSMEs and among the productivity webinar training sessions that may be availed by establishments during the period of recovery as they continuously battle the effects of COVID-19 pandemic.

7S stands for Sort, Systematize, Sweep, Standardize, Self-discipline, Sustain and Safety. It is also an expanded version of the 5S of Good Housekeeping, which is intended to help MSMEs to optimize their physical workplace efficiency, effectiveness and safety by adopting strategies that will ensure workplace orderliness and cleanliness in the most practical and innovative manner.
