The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board – National Capital Region (RTWPB- NCR), in partnership with DTI Negosyo Center, conducted a face-to-face (F2F) seminar on Social Media Marketing and Productivity Based Incentive Scheme (PBIS) on March 9, 2022 following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in the country.

In line with the Board’s commitment to continuously provide assistance to MSMEs through productivity programs and services, the RTWPB-NCR held the said learning session at Claro M. Recto High School in Sampaloc, Manila.

Attendees were mostly comprised of owners of small businesses looking to leverage the power of social media to increase the reach of their products or services and implement incentives that recognize the productive efforts of employees.

The live workshop for Social Media Marketing was led by RTWPB-NCR representatives, Luchie C. Atienza and Ivann Archie O. Arintok, through a session that focused on the concepts of social media, tips on establishing a strong selling point, and the foundation of a strong social media presence. In addition, an informative discussion facilitated by Jackilyn G. Borja, RTWPB-NCR Supervising Labor and Employment Officer, introduced the concept of PBIS to the trainees as a gainsharing structure to encourage productivity within their respective businesses. Further, the implementation of the said mechanism will help in the establishment of a flexible and rewarding performance criteria and evaluation that is amicable between the workers and the management.

The Board continues to take part in this period of recovery by providing learning sessions fueled by technology that help respond to the unprecedented shift to digital age.
