Due to the reported number of employees who tested positive for COVID-19, the Department of Labor and Employment – National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) had temporarily closed its Regional Office in Malate from August 4 to 7, 2020, Regional Director Sarah Buena S. Mirasol announced on August 3, 2020.

“All DOLE-NCR senior officials and employees in the Regional Office shall continue to function remotely while the schedule of cleaning, disinfection, and contact tracing of activities are underway,” she further stated in their Advisory.

Mirasol said that the Regional Office will resume operations on August 10 but on a limited workforce arrangement while temporarily disallowing entry of visitors in line with the enforcement of modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in NCR from August 4-18, 2020.

Meanwhile, DOLE-NCR’s Field Offices (FOs) shall continue to operate during the MECQ period; also on a limited workforce arrangement and still prohibiting visitors in their FOs to prevent the possible transmission of the virus.

“As we prioritize the health and safety of all concerned, we urge all DOLE-NCR clients to electronically file all DOLE-related requests through our e-Filing Services. We apologize for the inconvenience and request for the cooperation of our clients,” stated Mirasol in the Advisory.

The DOLE-NCR’s e-Filing Service can be accessed through their official website at https://ncr.dole.gov.ph or at https://tinyurl.com/dolencr-efiling. For assistance, clients are provided with an instructional video at https://bit.ly/video-dolencr-efiling.
