The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board – National Capital Region (RTWPB-NCR) together with its mother agency, the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) and other regional boards had once again demonstrated its worth in maintaining excellence in providing quality programs and services to their clients as they maintained their ISO 9001:2015 Certification.

In an on-site audit held last August 20, 2020, the Board’s implementation of its policies and programs on minimum wage setting for private enterprises and productivity programs and gainsharing were evaluated by a group of auditors from the TÜV Rheinland. They focused their assessment on the management system documentation of the organization and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements that are in place.

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard dedicated to Quality Management Systems (QMS). It outlines a framework for improving quality and system to provide programs and services that consistently meet the requirements and expectations of clients in the most efficient manner. The QMS is the aggregate of all the processes, resources, assets, and cultural values that support the goal of customer satisfaction and organizational efficiency.

In the end, RTWPB-NCR, NWPC and other regional boards were declared to be compliant with ISO standards, with no non-conformance findings from the auditors.
